Now that we have Liam, I’ve really been wanting to get another camera. I love my 60D, but it’s just too big to always carry around. We want something simple enough that Kristel can pull out and snap shots of our amazingly cute kid. It also needs to be small enough to stuff in Liam’s diaper bag. I’ve been looking at Olympus’ new PEN E-PM1. It’s really slim and it has a fast AF, so it would be great just to pull out and shoot anytime Liam does something we think is cute, which is everything. Plus I love the fact that you can use interchangeable lenses and use it in manual when I want to get “fancy.” They’re also not that expensive ($499) considering all it can do. I found that Olympus has a marketing campaign were they’re giving them away at undisclosed locations around the US. However, they’re not coming to Denver, which stinks.  Well, I guess for right now I’ll just wait until Black Friday.
